WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS - We will have stands placed right in the feeding, bedding and deer travel lanes; they’ll be baited! The stands are new, will be the leaning ladder type mostly huge custom pressure treated wood stands and will range from 10’ to 16’ tall. They have comfortable chairs or benches, not crates like most clubs. They have sides so you can relax, rest your gun and also, not fall out! Most will have a roof and many will comfortably sit two hunters! There are also ground stands looking over and into thick areas and creek bottoms, where the deer will pass sometimes as close as 5 feet!!! DON’T MOVE - wait for your shot! We will take you to your stand in the morning before light, generally for 4 to 5 hours and the same in the afternoon. If you want to hunt longer, that’s fine. If you want to put yourself out that’s fine! Most clubs won’t let you.

VELVET DEER HUNTS - Opening day, August 15th and through about Sept.10th, the deer are still in “VELVET.” They look fantastic and make a real trophy for your wall!!! The deer have not been hunted all year!! A great time for a early getaway and hunt and to try for a unique trophy. S.C. is the only state that offers this type of opportunity in the whole country!!

TROPHY MANAGED HUNTING AREA - These are very special areas! We probably have some of the best trophy areas in the state! We do not take does until after the rut in late November in this area. We have planted crops, peas, food plots and have corn feeders out. You are allowed one deer per sitting with 6 or more points and at least a 12 inch spread. THE HORNS WILL BE OUTSIDE OF THE BUCKS EARS, you can’t make a mistake. These areas are back in, undisturbed and baited. You can see as many as 3 to 6 deer around you at one time and up to fifteen or more. WE ALL HAVE, many times. These areas are for the serious sportsman ONLY! ANY buck shot with less than 6 points, or spread less than 12 inches, the hunter will be fined $200.00. If you shoot a DOE, the fine will be $200.00. NO EXCEPTIONS! All good clubs have a fine system to make you take your time and LOOK before you shoot. (We have even made a mistake and paid a fine.)* Use your binoculars!!
