Hi hunter!
You are at your pc now
because of one of our ads on the internet or in a flyer or magazine or a referral from one of our many successful past hunters. We know it’s
hard to get a lot across in a website or brochure and We feel We can get a lot more information across to you when you call us on the phone, and We will be happy to
answer any and all of your questions personally!!
First, we purchased Paradise Valley Farms as our dream was to move from Florida and have a first class hunting club and we found this in the beautiful and peaceful town of Ehrhardt in the low country of South Carolina. We have Brock Hook as our consultant and he has owned 3 top clubs in the area over the last 15 years and Don Maynard, a top guide for 12 years hear Ehrhardt.
Our main love is DEER HUNTING!! We all have taken plenty of deer and Brock has personally taken well over 100 whitetail deer, also elk, mule deer, antelope, bear and countless geese ducks
and all upland game. We have many deer heads mounted - 12 pointers, 10 pointers, and yes even 4 and 6 pointers, along with boar, elk and antelope!!! NOW WE WANT TO
GUIDE YOU FOR HUNTING! For the last 25 years Brock has hunted in and around Ehrhardt dead center between Allendale, Hampton, Bamberg and Colleton counties in the lowland area of South Carolina.
If you don’t know, these four counties have the largest deer herd in the Eastern United States!!! The deer are not pressured by cold winters or over-hunting. Most DOES
have two fawns a year, (some have three) and no natural enemies. There are plenty of crops to eat. Soybeans, corn, wheat and millet are the area’s main crops, and
forestry is it’s biggest resource. So plenty to eat, mild climate and lots of timberland, oak forest, planted pines for bedding and lowland swamp areas make it one of the
absolute best areas to hunt whitetail deer east of the Mississippi!!! That’s why the deer season is five months long and there’s NO LIMIT on the amount of bucks you
can shoot!!! AT PARADISE VALLEY FARMS YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TWO BUCKS PER DAY AND DOES, !!! Doe season starts Sept. 15 in S.C. We are
also running a trophy deer management program in association with South Carolina Fish & Wildlife. |

We have hunted at most of the other big hunting clubs over the years in Allendale, Hampton, Bamberg, and Colleton counties, Brock has personally hunted at - OAKLAND HALL, BOSTICK
PLANTATION, CEDAR KNOLL, MILBERRY PLANTATION, TRI STATE, BROXTON BRIDGE PLANTATION, LOW COUNTRY HUNTING LODGE,
WHITE OAK, SNAKE RIDGE, CINNAMON RIDGE, PARADISE VALLEY, HIDDEN VALLEY, and many others; some OK, some NOT! Brock has acted as a guide and taken hunters
out on most of the clubs as he has hunted almost 8 weeks a year and knew all of the properties. He also PERSONALLY OWNED over the last 15 years, “CINNAMON
RIDGE," "PARADISE VALLEY" and "HIDDEN VALLEY" ”,all were premier hunting clubs in their own right as a high end and low end and located in Ehrhardt, S.C., and recently sold these. We are happy
to have him as our consultant at Paradise Valley Farms a much smaller low end and reasonably priced, back to basics club with top stands and deer hunting!! So, you know we have seen all the problems and heard all the stories. IT ALL BOILS DOWN
TO MONEY!! Most clubs have 1,500 to 3,800 acres all in one spot. Half of this land is waist deep water and swamp with no deer. Then add 80 to 100 blinds, and rotate
as many as 40 to 50 hunters a week, SOME THAT MANY A DAY!!! Give me a break. If you shoot 8 to 10 deer off a stand, the BIG BUCKS and also the does are going
to avoid the area, right? Sure the owner or the head guide has his honey holes way back in, that he has baited with corn (BAITING IS LEGAL IN SOUTH CAROLINA)
and for a tip on the side you will see a deer!! Maybe? We will be more than happy to refer you to the right club if we are booked. FEEL FREE TO CALL and We will
answer all your questions and concerns and we can book you into the right club so you won’t make a mistake and have a bad hunting trip. We can’t be MORE FAIR OR
OPEN THAN THAT, “RIGHT”?!

Generally, the costs of the so called top premium clubs range from $295.00 to $475.00 a day and some more than that! Some clubs try a different approach and
have low fees of $150.00 to $225.00 a day, then a KILL FEE. If you take a doe and a small 4 point buck, you could spend as high as $800.00+ or more A DAY. Most
of these clubs can’t have any QUALITY or DECENT BUCKS left on their leases as they sell their DEER. With most of the above you will have a room, most with 3
or 4 beds or 4 to 8 bunk beds, and are crowded with a bunch of people you don’t know, who snore all night or stay up playing cards and drinking! Some have 2 cooks/
2 maids or more, and most have 5 to 8 guides to carry all the hunters in their 5 or 8 four-wheel drive trucks. And land leases can range from $10.00 an acre to as much
as $30.00 an acre and more, if it comes with a lodge, etc. (WE’RE BACK TO MONEY AGAIN!!) The only way to make a profit is to run what we call a CATTLE
OPERATION. Move hunters in an out, the bigger the club, the more hunters they need, RIGHT? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DEER? We are sure you can figure that
out on your own. We have seen many hunters INCLUDING OURSELVES hunt five days and not see a SINGLE DEER!!! A lot of clubs go to all the sportsmen’s shows, put
up big displays, pay for motels and food, etc. for two or three guys, spend $15,000 to $25,000 a season and try to book hunters at these shows. They also spend an
additional small fortune on many big ads in all the magazines. This is a CATTLE OPERATION in our opinion. Here we are back to money again!! They need more
hunters just to recoup what they spent on the show and advertisements. We at Paradise Valley Farms would rather put all that money back into our club for top land leases,
quality stands, and crops so we always will stay a Top Quality Club with our hunter success the best there is, and hunt only small groups of hunters. This way everyone
will have the best chance to get their deer and hopefully bust that trophy you have always wanted! This is why we will have the highest success ratio of hunter success and
repeat of any club, period! And why you have not seen us at all the shows and never will!! THE ABOVE IS WHY WE OPENED OUR OWN CLUB!!! It’s personal, fun,
not crowded, reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere, miles of land, and great and clean accommodations and plenty of deer!!
